Final Fantasy XIII for the Xbox 360!!!

This kind of things is why i love E3…

“We believe that releasing an Xbox 360 version of Final Fantasy XIII will allow us to provide the game to even more fans in the two regions of North America and Europe” said Yoichi Wada… And that’s not the only good new they gave…

The game will be comig for the Xbox 360 and it will arrive on the same day as the PlayStation 3 edition, with no timed exclusivity whatsoever!!

I have been a true fan of this great RPG series since Final Fantasy VI and i have played all of them, but when i had to make a choice between buying a PS3 or a 360, well, it was hard, my main (for not to say only) reason to buy a PS3 was for FF, but still the price and quality of the console were terrible, the 360 was far better, but now that the game is also coming for us, I’m glad i made this choice…

You see, i am a proud owner of a PS2, its not like I’m a fanboy or anything, but a lot of people saw which console was better when both of them came out….

Anyways, this post isn’t about which console is better, it is about one of the best RPG series there is, and that it is now coming multiplataformed…. Shipping date for the game hasn’t been set yet, but when it comes I’m pretty sure it will be awesome…

After Thoughts

Ok, i finally got it, i know whats that thing my blog is missing, it is pretty simple you see, it is not about how often i post, or how much content do i put in it, what my blog needs is a small simple thing: Meaning.

You see, i have been doing some “research” and i noticed that most blogs talk about one specific subject only talking about other stuff when it is necessary, like, some of them are about science, others are about video games, or fashion, or maids, and so on…

Until now i have been just rambling all over around random stuff… But that is not completely wrong either, i also saw that some other blogs did this too, but most of them had another “attraction” besides the writing, like webcomics, help forums, or important news, or maids… And the blog was a secondary thing on it…

So i thought that maybe i don’t have to stop rambling, i just have to put stuff for you people not to notice that i am!

Now, i have been doing some serious head work… What could i put? i could try for a webcomic, but as i have mentioned before i have no artistic skills whatsoever, unless that i use that as a premise for the comic, but still i shouldn’t do it… A help forum is not completely out of question, i mean, i could put some help stuff for Linux beginners, or some videogames guides, but it would consume some of my time which i am not willing to give away…. I don’t think that putting news would be such a good idea, mostly because i almost never know whats going on outside my house, so, news = bad idea….

I need some time to clear up my mind, apparently I’m not in condition to decide anything when i cant stop thinking of Battlefield: Bad Company… So…

I will sleep on it, think about it some more before choosing anything, but i can not keep lacking meaning on this blog, anymore…

Of course, i could always do maids if i don’t come up with anything….

Well, i will choose something and let you know, i guess i will speak to you people soon..

It took me some time but i finally did the banner for the blog, it is pretty good considering my lack of artistic skills… I made it as a tribute to some of my favorite artists (some of you will notice) and added some crazy randomness of my own..

Epiphany (L.o,S Induced)

So, there i was, thinking of when would my next randomly based blog post be, when i remembered the blog of my good old friend Acgla… I went on to his blog, for i hadn’t visited it in some time, and great was my surprise when i did… He had dozens of new posts about all kind of (random) subjects all in a few weeks, when i had barely that quantity in my whole blog history… He had so many posts, and i had so few, he even started a smallwebcomic, while i barely posted images, i didn’t want to believe my thoughts so i went and check many other blogs, and i realized, they were all like that, constantly updated, well taken care of, while mine was all but that, in that exact moment it hit me, like if a stream of tropical light that smashes you in the head with a raccoon, i had an awesomely lame blog…

What could i do? Maybe there was nothing i actually could do, maybe it was the way things were supposed to be… But, what couldn’t i do?

There was only one thing that i could do, i had to smash the raccoon with the stream of tropical light, so my head could finally get some rest…

Okay, so, in this last week i have been in a pretty active otaku mood, i don’t know why but i just felt like it, so i spent the whole week (among other stuff) watching anime, reading mangas and of course cosplaying!!

I believe some of my neighbors now think that I’m a little bit special (like Ed) because some guy walking down the street dressed like a high-school-mecha-samurai is not so normal in this town/region/country… But still i did, it was kind of fun to cosplay with no apparent reason… Also i saw some chapters of Monster in which I’m pretty delayed, and i saw all FLCL and Ouran High School Host Club; which are both awesome!!

I kind of didn’t like FLCL ending so much, but over that it was a pretty good anime. And OHSHC well, i loved it, i couldn’t stop laughing, it was just genius, a masterpiece!!

I really like those comedy/slice of life animes, if you know any that is good let me know! =D

Above that i haven’t been up to much, we are making a trailer for the new project, is taking a while because we want to do it right so… I guess it will be online pretty soon….
I’m gonna update the CT/About section and I’m out people… BTW, “L.o,S” means Lack of Sleep…. Don’t ask why…

HP Customer Service

EDIT: Oh, BTW, Happy Independence Day!!

So, my brother’s notebook got damaged, we tried the regular stuff to repair plus some crazy things we though of but in the end it didn’t work. We had to send it to HP but we wanted to play a little with their costumer service, little did we knew that HP Customer Service hired one eyed condescending monkeys to work as the support team.

Before we got to speak with them we had to fill a huge form with all our personal information, and all the characteristic of the laptop and the failure it was presenting. Then we finally got to speak with them:

• Costumer Service: Hello. Welcome to HP Total Care. My name is Kinsey. How may I assist you today?

• I: Hi, er, my HP notebook doesn’t turn on.

• CS: I understand that YOU are unable to turn on your Notebook. Am i right?   *Bastard…*

• I: Yes… Yes you are…

• CS: Ok, I will be glad to assist you in this regard. Are you able to see the HP logo when you Turn on your Notebook?

• I: No, when i turn the notebook on it turns off immediately.

• CS: Thank you for confirming. In this case, I recommend you perform the following troubleshooting steps to isolate the issue.

1. Disconnect the AC Adapter.
2. Remove the Battery.
3. Hold the Power button down for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
4. Reconnect the AC adapter.
5. Turn on the Notebook power.

(We already had done that, but we did it again)

• I: Er, it didn’t work, it still turns off.

• CS: In this case, I recommend you reset the memory module in your Notebook and then try to turn on your Notebook. Please provide me your Notebook Serial number and Product number, so that I can provide you the manual for your Notebook Model to reset the memory module.

(We had already reseated the memory modules too, and note that we had given the SN and PN before when they asked us for the notebook’s info)

• I: Ok, the Serial Number is ########## and the Product Number is #######.

• CS: Thank you for the information. Here is the weblink from where you can get the steps to reset the memory module in your Notebook. “http://…………………..” Please copy the entire URL and paste it in a new window (*Do you really think we are THAT stupid?!*) of Internet Explorer (*WTF is wrong with you?!! IE?!!*) Then open the link from there. Please refer page number 48 in this weblink.

(So we open the guide, and go to page 48, this page refers on how to take the notebook’s keyboard out and then how to disassemble the notebook; of course this is NOT the way to reset the memory modules)

• I: Page 48 refers on how to disassemble the whole notebook.

• CS: Sir, to reset the memory module in your Notebook you need to disassemble your Notebook.

(So i think, “well, they are Costumer Service, they should know better, right?” well, they didn’t. To reset the memory modules of a Tx1000 you only have to unscrew a small panel beneath the notebook and there are the memory modules, but still, we gave them the pleasure, we took out our keyboard)

• I: Ok, so, should i only remove the keyboard?

• CS: Yes.

• I: Ok, i have removed the keyboard.

• CS: Please reset the memory module and let me know the result. *Jeez, THANKS!*

(Of course there is nothing beneath the keyboard)

• I: I removed the keyboard, what do i have to do now?

• CS: Please reset the memory module. *oh boy! You are SO INCREDIBLY HELPFUL!*

• I: How?! According to the guide you gave me, removing the keyboard its only done to then remove the screen and disassemble the whole notebook! Do i have to do that?!

• CS: Please remove the memory module only and reinstall it. After reinstalling the memory module try to restart the Notebook and let me know the result. *Did you smash your head into a wall this morning??*

(At this point i was to amazed with their stupidity to fight them)

• I: okeey, so, i reseated the memory module, i tried to restart, and the notebook didn’t turn on.

• CS: I appreciate your efforts. *You are a real piece of shaft*

• CS: As you have performed all the basic troubleshooting steps and the issue persist I suspect the issue is Hardware related with your Notebook which need repair service. *O RLY?!!!*

• CS: In this case, I recommend you send your Notebook to HP service center get it fixed. *SRSLY??!!*

• CS: As your Notebook is under factory warranty, I will be glad to arrange free mailing service for your Notebook within US.

• I: I am not in the US.

(Which they already knew)

• CS: In this case I recommend you contact your local support. *U THINK?!*

• CS: If they are able to assist you, you can send your Notebook at your local service center. *OIC!*

• CS: If they are unable to help you, you need to send your Notebook to US to get it fixed. *NO WAI!!!!*

• I: Ok, thank you SOOO much, you were very helpful.

• CS: You are welcome. *MOFO!*

• CS: Is there anything else I can assist you with today? *HELL NO!!*

• I: No, thank you.
